  Kleine Scheidegg is located beneath the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau at 2061 metres above sea level. It offers visitors a spectacular view of the notorious Eiger North Wall. In 1936, awestruck onlookers watched as four mountain climbers perished on the wall in dramatic circumstances. The tragic story was later made into a film.

The walk is in a magnificent mountain setting and can be made from the Eigergletscher station to Kleine Scheidegg or in the opposite direction. The theme of the Jungfrau Eiger Walk is the Eiger North Wall with its decades of dramatic history – tales of triumph and tragedy.
